its hard to understand. i see young girls writing stuff like "pimp sistas" and then they are pregnant at 16 and unwed and listening to rap music about drive bys and thugs and you just have to wonder what is going on in their pea brain.
immorality is something that people can do to rebel that isn't necessarily against the law. it is a combination of things, but it is sometimes difficult to distinguish whether something is the cause (drugs, economical standing, promiscuity) or the product of immorality.
it boils down to who was taught right from wrong from their parents. i think it is as simple (or complex) as that

Society wants you to believe it's a normal thing. It even talks about this time in the bible, when people start throwing out the idea of absolute truth. Hollywood is trying to make homosexuality, infedelity, satan worship and God knows what else seem like it's perfectly normal. The sad part is that most people these days buy into it in one way or another. Maybe not completely but even some Christians fall prey to it. You just have to recognize it for what it is. It's the total falling apart of our society, as far as God and the truth.
2 Timothy 4:3-4
For there will be a time when people 1 will not tolerate sound teaching. Instead, following their own desires, 2 they will accumulate teachers for themselves, because they have an insatiable curiosity to hear new things. 3
And they will turn away from hearing the truth, but on the other hand they will turn aside to myths. 1

First of all, whoever implied interracial relationships is wrong needs their head examined. And then they need to be educated on the concept that there should be no barriers between 2 people who care about one another and want to be together.
Second of all, immorality is tolerated because our GOVERNMENT is immoral. No one cares anymore about consequences, responsibility, and common sense. Therefore, it is now OK to be immoral. Do you honestly think this nonsense would fly 50 years ago????

Because "moral" and "immoral" are relative terms, and depend on the local societal norms. Remember, in muslim places it's MORAL to kill your daughter if she gets raped. So why is it "immoral" here to walk around outside naked? Because society (which is really just a bunch of other people) think it should be... even though you harm no one by not having clothes on. It's all relative.

because this is the twenty first century.
these outdated concepts of 'religion' and 'morality' are bound to fade away. mind you, we'll always adhere to ethics and have social standards, but 'morality' (as well as labeling people as immoral based on 'religious' standards) is a thing of the past.
personal choice is getting to be much more acceptable, which i believe is a step in the right direction.
were the 'good old days' really that good? when woman stayed in abusive relationships because divorce was considered 'immoral'? blacks were lynched because they were 'morally inferior'? gays had to live in fear and secrecy?
it's progress, if you want to live in the past, well.... good luck.

because following rules made over 1000 years ago is senseless!
Morals need to be somewhat flexible, every generation have special needs. Are you telling me women don't eserve equal rights? that black peopel shoul still be slaves? that we should pay our respects to our fathering country?
SCREW THAT!
and if you feel there's an outbreak ofimmorality, child molestation, rape, domestic abuse, murdering... keep in mind that we live in a more and more connected age, it's not uncommon to hear about killer speed bumbs in pennsylvania all the way in california.
An if it's a social breakdown of general politeness, well, that's the result of the 2 income generation that didn't have time to raise chilren the way they did previously.
and people who blame TV, videogames, should exert parental control over thier children, and blame themselves first.

look at the leaders of our country and what kind of example they're setting...
For example, you have the supposed religious and conservative Republicans getting charged with ethics violations, taking bribes, and leaking information to the press. Yet they don't take the responsiblity... you'll see a lot of the Republican apologist blame
Clinton or they'll point out a Democrat.
If it's wrong for a Democrat to do it, how can you use them as an excuse for your own doings? It's still wrong!

Capitalism and sex.
And, Tina, of course you are "against gays", otherwise you wouldn't have mentioned it as an example of immoral behavior kids would follow.

It depends on your definition of "immorality"...
Immorality by its very definition is still frowned upon by people...
