The pill can only *make* you gain around five pounds. If you go off it you may find you have less appetite and that it is easier for you to eat less, but it's not a magic bullet: at the end of the day, you still have to eat a sensible diet, and exercise.
Since a baby makes you fatter than the pill ever would, I suggest trying to improve your physical activity level and diet before giving up on the pill.

I am not sure it will.
Have a word with your GP/FPC as they will be able to advise you if there is a pill that will affect your weight less.
I know I was changed on to a different pill to stop the weight gain. Didn't work, but then my diet probably did not help.

I thought the same thing so came off the pill and the weight is still there plus more from xmas!!!! But everyone is different!

yeah the pill makes u gain a lot of weight seen's ive come off it i have lost loads good luck

I never lost any weight, although I'm not sure if I put much on....umm, when I came of the pill I also came out in loads of spots!! so consider that too!
