Its not math that has gone wrong, the cost is due to the production techniques. To manufacture four bulbs you need 4 times things u need to manufacture one bulb, except for the filament which is not that costly, so cost of one 100 W and one 25 W bulb is approx same.

Maths has not gone wrong. Cost of bulb does not depend on watts but it depends on manufacturing cost. It needs more material to produce four 25 watts compared to one 100 watts bulb.
