i work at a nursing home and it kills me to see how much people have to give up. They have to give up their belongings and wendle them down to one room or less. They have to give up their freedom. For the most part they get told when to eat, sleep, and bathe. The give up there privacy because people aren't always careful when they are doing hygiene cares on the elderly. They lose there rights as adults because staff often treats and talks to them like they are children, when actually they have lived and had more experiences then any one that works with them. What people don't think about is most of us will be in their situation someday.

knowing that tomorrow i could wake up dead but then again I'll be in heaven so my other would be knowing that someone i'm close to in my family is dying as i type and what kills u emotionally?

when people aren't fair to other people that are close to me...like when people in authority take advantage of close friends or relatives..I just wish I could do more for them....this happened recently
