All jewelry that is less than 100% gold (24K) or 100% silver is an alloy, and most alloys contain nickel. 24K gold is very expensive and too soft for most rings, although I have one I bought from SNBC (a TV shopping channel). I wouldn't wear it every day, as I have to shape it back to round when I wear it. A better solution is to use stainless steel jewelry. It looks like silver or white gold and is 100% hypoallergenic.

I have the same problem.... but you shouldn't have that problem with your wedding rings if they are solid gold and/or platinum. In other words there shouldn't be any nickel in your wedding rings. I am very allergic to nickel and I can wear jewelry that is solid gold/silver/platinum.
