How do you answer somebody who introduces himself over the phone?

At the beginning of an interview over the PHONE you have to greet the other one and respond sth when he introduces himself. What's the appropriate formula?

Exchange names. If you're going to ask the person for something, state your business. If not, ask "What can I do for you today?"

Be appropriate, do not use "um", or say "ya", that is correct. Mi mick yourself after him. -_-, good luck.
