I've never meditated before and don't really understand how they do it, so I don't know what it entails....... can people just get right back into it? or is it no big deal?

Yeah, you generally shouldn't interrupt people when they are meditating; but in your defense, your boss should not have been meditating at work. People should only meditate when no one else can bother them; and definetely not when they are at work and should be attending to their duties. If your boss gets mad at you for bothering him, then you should complain to his immediate superior that he was slacking off at work.

I think you are too sensitive to bother yourself! And dont worry for this petty things.
If he was really careful he should have closed all the doors or atleast pre-informed it to some one else!
Meditation, is an in between state of Sleep and awake fullness! It is neither sleep nor a waking state. In that state one can either do concentrating on some thing and pushing away the unwanted thoughts, or else, leave the mind to run for some time to its whims and fancy, let it settled, and then being in a MINDLESS AWARENESS STATE.
The first one is called 'SAVI KALPA SAMADHI' and the second is ' NIR VIKALPA SAMADHI". Both are good as to the usage for the meditator!

Your interruption may have been annoying to your boss, but it couldn't have done any real harm. If he's experienced with meditation, he will probably be able to get back "into it" without much trouble. Why not talk to your boss about it? In the future he should let you know when he doesn't want to be disturbed.

although u broke his frame of mind and most likeley enduced extra stress by entering and obliterateing his 'happy place'
dont worry b happy because hed get fried for doing meditation in the work place if he flies a complaint to the ceo...but if he is the ceo hell be mad and stuff but wonk kill u..(i hope) 0_0

He shouldnt be mediating at work anyway. I think they have to get in the zone for it. But there is a time a place for that!! I wouldnt sweat it!

I generaly try not to interupt my boyfriend while he's meditating or praying.. if we do interupt him its always unintentional and he doesn't get mad about it and will go right back to it ...
