compatibility with other fishes?

Koi can only be combined with other Koi and Common, Comet and Shubunkin goldfish of similar size. Koi and goldfish do not eat fish of their own size. They are not aggressive fish. The only fish koi and goldfish will eat are fry that, coincidentally, look like food. The compatibility issue with other freshwater fish is one of water quality and temperature. The compatibility issue with fancy goldfish is one of speed. Koi, Commons, Comets and Shubunkins are fast fish. Fancies are slow fish and would never get any food.

Other koi and similarly sized (or larger goldfish). I have one koi in my pond with goldfish and have not really had any trouble, but I do think that it eats some of the offspring of the goldfish. The only trouble that I have is when I try to introduce a new koi it just disappears, but I do not know for sure if it is from the other koi.

You wiped sparkling the tank, that would eliminate some healthful micro organism and stresses out the fish. you will desire to not sparkling the tank a similar day or day earlier including fish. then you rather further too many fish at as quickly as, which overwhelms the filter out , including too plenty ammonia and nitrates than the present micro organism can cycle, so now you have poisonous ammonia and nitrite interior the tank. Did you upload the bag water to the tank too? you will desire to never upload the bag water on your tank, the fish have been of their being under pressure and bobbing up ammonia, you do not prefer to function ammonia to the tank on precise of the organic and organic load of the hot fish, and the better ammonia brought about by your previous fish being under pressure. not gonna type all of the justifications why those fish are not properly suited, merely promise to not take propose from puppy-keep workers anymore, and do the learn earlier hand.
