Ask your local banker if they will finance your mobile home purchase and then if they do, apply for a loan through them. You will have to be ready to put up some collateral if you are trying to finance the whole purchase price. Titles to your vehicles work for this if your credit is O.K.
If you are moving the home to a different location, beware. The movers cost will fry your budget. I purchased a mobile home on the order of the one you're looking at one time and moved it myself by taking off all the skirting and jacking it up. I then rented a tractor, hooked onto it and moved it myself to the desired location. If this is in the city, you will need a mobile home permit to do this. They are reasonable and usually easy to obtain.
If you have a friend that is a carpenter, you can save a lot of money by talking him into blocking and leveling the trailer once it is at your destination. In ending, mobile homes are a lot of house for the money, so if you do everything as reasonable as possible, you will have a comfortable home for the next few years, until you can afford your dream home. Happy camping!

I don't think ANY company will finance a mobile that is that old. Most require them to be new, or just a couple years old. Mobiles do not increase in value like a house, it is more like a car.

The company I work for finances mobile homes as long as they are double wide. If you are looking for financing on a single wide mobile home, your best bet will be a smaller local bank. They may have limited terms available, but they may also be the best source for you.

some banks will personal loan as a lot as like eighty % of the cost , yet in case you borrow a lot less they're going to nevertheless favor you to placed the abode up as collateral, so it is going to be like procuring all yet over again..only no longer on as a lot money , some lenders no longer greentree , will also provide progression loans on doublewides / and modular houses only ought to purchase round with lenders , commence with Vanderbilt personal loan , i in my opinion recognize no longer some thing about them , yet I truly have heard others speaking how please they are with that corporation , they'd do progression loans ..you are able to also examine with the cellular abode sellers on your section to locate a good one to artwork with ..they manage all of them on almost a accepted foundation..
