Has anyone ever seen her smile ? She always has that look, like she just ate something nasty ? Might be PMS, but oh come on, 24/7. If shes single, I think I might just know why. If shes married, gee the poor guy.

I agree completely. Her boyfriend or fiancee was murdered a while back and Nancy then decided to become a prosecutor and went to law school. She was very good as a prosecutor and maybe that is why she is so high strung. If you were a defendant would you want her ready to hang you? I wouldn't

She does have a certain look about her , and yes she rarely smiles but i've only ever seen her on her show...not at a public appearance for anything...Mind you.....Pretty much all of her shows are nothing to smile about* It's TOP NEWS of horror things happening in our world., so Don't go blaming her there..can't very well see her saying...So and So was murdered and so and so is on trial :):):).........you know what i mean? lol If she bothers you with not smiling* then turn the station. Her husband was murdered, no joke, and she is a former prosecutor on top of it. Don't know all the details about her husband's death, but I would guess with some work you could find it on the web somewhere. That's where her anger is coming from...deep inside.
If you'll notice, she's only mad at the 'bad' guys, or if someone is getting off light or away with something....granted, on her show that's just about all the time.

the whole reason she became a prosecutor is because her fiance got murdered. so maybe that is where her anger comes from. she fights for justice but sometimes i think she needs to chill and hang back a little. i don't think she is married,but i have seen her in interviews and she does smile. it is probably just because of the issues she is talking about that it is not appropriate for her to smile.
