Yes this can be one of the side effects (some pill packets even say this in the leaflet). But think it is very individual, if you think you are not wanting sex very much you could take a break from the pill and see if this makes any different. But consult your doctor before doing this as they told me while one or two breaks from the pill is good to ensure your natural periods of normal, coming on and off the pill continuously is not good.

Studies have shown that the pill can lower a woman's sex drive.

It definately increases your sex drive, but for everyone as it is a side effect of using the pill.... also increase your breast size, stops you getting pregnant.....pretty good really

It can affect you in that way but I think that depends on who you are:

Birth control pills mask the ovarian function, floods your body with excessive estrogen that thicken your vaginal lining and chills up your G-spot and Epicenter nerves due to insufficient testosterone and finally kills the secretion of the Orgasm hormone, Oxytocin, from the pituitary during sex. You can be very wet but cannot heat up your vagina and G-spot!

everyone is different, but there are side effects that effect your weight, mood, libido. if yours is causing you problems there are many different and new types out there you can discuss with your dr. some do not have as bad a risk of side effects. there's something called the nouva ring or something like that, and it has a very low amount of hormones which descreases the chances of side effects.

It's true, everyone is effected differently. I never thought mine had, but now I think about it - I was far hornier before, or at least, now if I don't have any sex, I'm not as fussed, before, I'd be really aggrivated! lol
For me, I think it's effected it. But certainly not a lot.
