Won't happen. The Republican led Congress and White House of the last 6 years did nothing about abortion. They could have tried but they didn't. They don't want a change in the law. They like abortion to be a political "wedge" issue. It gets them votes.

Well, I have an idea...but it's going to sound REALLY crazy.
By the way, I support your cause.
Well, first the normal idea: Become a senator, or some other powerful political person. (And you'd better not be a democrat...they support abortion.) Of course, if you have a profession already this probably sounded crazy too.
Idea number two: Start a website and, if you want, a "club." Have meetings, discussing your moves and what you will do to end abortion every time you meet. (Set a date, like once a week or something.) On the website, people sign up and join it, and the forums (You have to have forums) until you have a large group. Advertise your site when you can, and when you have a ton of people, petition for it. They can either sign it online, or come and sign it personally. Set a date a month or two from the day you announce it, that all members should come to some state, recommended in the middle of America so people in California or New Jersey wouldn't have to drive so far, and have everyone sign the document. (It will have more of impact if everyone signs it in person.)
If you were persistent and motivated enough, I'll bet you could even get Bush to sign, along with some senators and other political influences to sign. You might even get some to help you. (Save some spots at the top for Bush's and the senator's names.)

give money to all of those who are pregnant , including compensation for having to go through pregnancy and make the needed lifestyle changes. the money should be in advance, under a legal contract stating that if you don't pay your wages will be garnished or if you can't pay after you said you would you will recieve jail time.
then set up adoptions for each baby that is born. the adoption must be set before the time for abortion runs out, or the woman can abort.
for children who are deformed you must pay for their speciual schooling and all their needs as well
if you do all this women will stop aborting-unless they have a medical problem. you can't tell them they have to die for a bunch of cell to become a child that will have no mother

Abortion can not be made illegal unless Roe vs. Wade is overturned. Contrary to what many people think though, doing so does not automatically make it illegal. Roe v. Wade simply prevents states from making laws that would make it illegal.

Why don't you make smoking illegal? I don't choose to breathe in other people's smoke yet it will still kill me, and thousands more than abortion ever does. Why not make too much salt in food illegal - that kills a hell of a lot more people. Or drinking. Or guns. Or eating fatty foods.
Hey, why not just make everything illegal - then make some things legal afterwards, that way you can control everyone's lives exactly the way you like!

Run petetions.
Write your Congressman.
Get other of like mind together to do that for their representative.
Or you can do it the liberal way of getting it illegal.
Find a symapthic judge for your case.
Don't use facts but pure emtion put pictures of aborted fetuses in TV.
Run a TV spot showing an abortion.

Petition the law makers...but I should let you know, it has been done before, and abortion is still settled law of the land. Sorry, but majority rules. BTW, you can think global and act local...petition drug companies to produce more birth control options for men, take care of your children, don't have an abortion yourself, etc...lots you can do
