I have Asperger's syndrome (AS) and I was wondering if there were any successful people like me. Any that changed the world or just a good friend I haven't met yet. AS is a mental disability that makes me do strange routens and have strange interests (like filling in the the letters for blank spaces) and makes me a little clumsy. (Because of poor coordination) People with this don't have many friends because it impairs social abilities that a normal person could without much or any effort. I am no exception. Most of all, I see the world very differently so many people don't understand what I feel.

This link will list some well know people that are thought to have Asperger's and/or autism.

From my research, Asperger's is considered a "highly functional" form of autism. I think everybody has a slight or unnoticeable form of both- it just manifests itself differently and unpredictably.

I did see a web site a long time ago that did mention Famous People with Asperger's.

The psychologist that diagnosed me said that Bill Gates has Asperger's. She said that she also suspected that Einstien had Asperger's as well. (of course there is no way to know for sure.
