That depends. I'm your age, but I weigh merely 130 pounds. Then again, I'm a skinny punk who exercises daily. IF you feel that you have some extra blubber, the only healthy way to eliminate it is to get up, and get out. Jog, skate, bicycle... just get your body moving and your blood flowing. Good luck, man.

your a great weigh for your height! just hit the gym and do weight training and lots of cardio. it sounds like your medium build but for your height you could go 200 to 220 and be fine. sounds to me like you need to tone up and add size and thats all.

it depends on your body fat, i'm 16, 6'1, and 171lbs and i'm 10% body fat. if u are 186lbs and have over 20% body fat then u need to start working out while ure still young so it'll be easier. if ure under 20% then you are good to go and u should just keep your weight under control

I don't think you need to loose any weight, you are pretty tall and the weight seems right for you.

total body weight doesn't matter as much as how much body fat you have. at 17 you shouldn't be much higher than 14% body fat. I would aim for about 10-12%.

once your body is lean, staying that was is very easy...
