95? That sounds unhealthy. I don't know what would be "model" though . . . I think you should aim for at least 115 though. Good luck!

Your weight does not matter. Just your measurements and proportions. At 5'7 you are very short - probably too short. You can try to make up for that in thinness. You will want a 24" waist or thinner and hips no larger than 34". You also must be a size 4 or smaller. However, your chances, even at 5'8 are very slim for runway. The top runway models are almost exclusively 5'10 and up.
For runway, you also need good muscle tone. You can't just be skinny. In fact, if you have protruding ribs or spine or if your face looks gaunt you will not get work. They want you to be as thin as your body type allows without looking sick and boney.
When I was working, I weighed in the mid-120's and I'm 6'.

To everyone that says you are too skinny, THAT IS COMPLETELY UNTRUE! Please find out the facts before you answer a question falsely. It is an unstated requirement for most models, especially runway models to be underweight. In fact, many models are medically emaciated. With a BMI of about 14.6 (Depending on if you are 5'7 where it would be 14.9 or 5'8 where it would come to 14.4) most modeling agencies would gladly hire you if you have the talent. Although 95 lbs. is not the recommended "healthy" weight (Which, at the lowest would be around 118) for a woman of your height, it is quite normal for someone in the fashion industry. However, models such as those that appear in Victoria's Secret fashion shows are considerably larger than the average runway models, although still a bit underweight.

Sweet heart, you are extremely thin and need to gain some weight (not many modeling agencies will except you), I am a model and I weigh 127 pounds and the range they look for depending on height, bone structure and age is between 115-135, it really depends on the variables mentioned above and how you fill out there clothes.

If you are 5'7"-5'8", I'd say around 115-120.
That's for a chic, sporty, skinny look.
I'm currently 5'4" and 100 pounds.
My BMI is 17 point something.

I am so confused
please tell me why models have to be so underweight
its discusting to see someones bones popping out
make sure you stay in your healthy BMI weight
its not attractive to be too thin
you are already way underweight
you can be a model and be healthy
highly paid models are healthier than you
obviously
or that ralph lauren model (lms935) above me wouldn't be so successful

Valentina, I doubt that if you are not hired it is because you are too thin. If you have a problem it will be either because you are not tall enough, or they don't like your look or walk for some reason. But you don't need to lose weight to model, most models are underweight.
