Chargers had a great 14-2 season but that´s not important because he does not win in playoffs Is he going to get fired or is he going to leave ? Several decisions make Chargers loose vs Patriots like the timeout that he gave unnecesarily or to make a pass on 4th&11 when it was a 42 yard field goal he may be like manning on regular season but he does not know how to win a playoff game when that´s the most important thing

He will be fired, you just can't imagine anyone has confidence in him after yet another playoff choke job. Despite the turnovers, he had the game well in hand. He for some reason chose not to let LT get consistent carries, forcing Phillip Rivers to make plays. Why? LT was gaining more than 5 yards a carry. Keep feeding him, and the game shortens at the end so the Patriots wouldn't have enough time to come back. And what about going for it on 4th and 11 to start the game, when a FG would have been a likely outcome? Did the players do that? No.

Just a really poor coaching effort overall.

he made several questionable calls in that game. no question he cost them the victory.
i kind of like marty, but at the same time i think his own bumbling and stubborness will always prevent him from being successful in big games. his record proves that.
if i owned the chargers, i would seriously consider firing him. but he has a good record (47-33) with them, and two playoff berths in SD. Still, last year the underdog Jets beat them 20-17 and now they lose to the Patriots in a game that they had all but wrapped up. There comes a time when teams aren't happy just making the playoffs.
Why did Marty make that challenge? It made zero sense to challenge what he did. Not having the time out ended up costing them the game. and there were other weird things- why did the charger try to pick up the ball he muffed on that punt? he was on his knees when he tried to pick it up and fumbled it again, rather than fall on it. i tell you what- that looked fixed.
and at the very end, what IN THE WORLD was San Diego doing!!!! they had 70 seconds and they were acting like they had 7 minutes!!!! i seriously think that game was rigged.

No Way Marty Schottenheimer is getting fired. After going 14-2, you don't fire your coach, regardless of what happens in the playoffs. His job is safe, at least for another year, thanks to the great regular season they had

he didn't fumble 3 times though...

eric parker gave the patriots 50 yds when a simple fair catch probably would've won the game

drayton florence becam zinine zidane and headbutted that guy

marlon mcree got stripped after a 4th down play that would've ended the game...

no, he shouldn't get fired, but he probably will

GO PATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
