Your computer is safe,

Your computer writes information to it's hard drive. That information is stable and you can shut down the computer, dissemble it and move it to your new location. Then set it back up and it should run as well as it did before.

Hard Drives can hold information for several years, but I would suggest you make a back up of your data on CD/DVDs just to be sure. You can get away without it, but if the computer is damaged in the move and the hard drive inside damaged then you will be glad you made a backup.

All the information is stored on the hard drive, the only thing that can wipe that is either you manually or a very powerful magnet! Just be careful moving it and you should be good to go.

So long as it is saved to hard drive and it is not exposed to any large magnetic fields, you should have all your PCs data saved. However, if you have some doubts, you should back it up to DVD or external drive

everything should still be there, just as long as the movers don't drop the computer or anything, or expose it to a powerful magnet or something.

If you have saved your files to your computer that will be there when you plug your computer back in. Save them before you disconnect it.
