She was way better with No Doubt. Her solo work is so annoying, especially Hollaback Girl and Wind It Up! She's trying to compete with the younger singers out there like Christina Aguilera and Beyonce and Nelly Furtado and is trying wayyyyyyyyy tooooooooo hard to be electic and different. She sold out I'm sorry to say! I hope she decides to go back to No Doubt soon since they had some really cool songs.

i love her solo. only for the actual incontrovertible truth that that's a lot less complicated to colab with different artists. and likewise, having an all male band with a woman singer is truly puzzling... i'm certain the lads favor the songs to be more suitable about manly stuff and Gwen needed lengthy songs and songs about being a woman.

I personally can't stand her, but she at least has some artisitc credibility when she was with No Doubt. It is hard to beleive that she was a little punk girl growing up in Long Beach, Ca and hung out with Bradley Nowell from Sublime when you look and listen to her now. I bet poor Bradley is rolling over in his grave right now.
