That is what I have heard and read on American Family Association's web page and the article is there too...Unbelievable and sneaky not to mention underhanded and undermining the will of the people!

It is part of the proposed "Ethics Bill". It will be passed by the majority rule democrats if you don't call them today and stop them. Apparently they don't care about the Bill of Rights Your opinion about government or the United States Constitution! Democracy as we know it could become a distant memory!

That right is protected in the "Bill of Rights".

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

They cant, as your right is specifically stated in article one of the bill of Rights:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
someone is pulling your leg, as congress may not enact a law contrary to the Constitution.

Where did you hear of this? I've not seen it in any of the legit news sources. If this were true the media would be all over it. It sounds like an irrational right-wing scare tactic if you ask me.
