The number of attacks has diminished by far after the execution of Saddam. I´m not saying it will stop forever, but isn´t this a progress worth talking about?

Because the liberal media only reports stuff that makes George W Bush look bad.

If a story is favorable towards Bush, they bury it!

You are talking about it. How do you know the number of attacks has diminished? No news is good news. Millions of people were not killed by serial killers yesterday. Why is this not reported?
News is inherently bad. If the number of American casualties decreases for a long period of time, it will no doubt get reported.
Do you watch Fox News? They can be relied on to report anything the Bush Administration wants reported. If the Bush Administration wants that news to get out, Fox will report it, over and over and over again. Fox is the official source for government propaganda.

Oh, you must be new. Let me try to explain how the media works here. If it's bad news, then it's reported. Good news gets put on the back burners until bad news can be associated with it. The media doesn't want our country to know there has been a cease fire, especially when Bush is trying to put so many more troops over there. You must not understand yet that money runs this world. Bad news equals big bucks. Good news equals good news. Thank you and good luck.

It definitely is worth talking about...and REPORTING !!!...There is, however, a machine in place. That machine was programed by American leftists. I think we all know which direction the American left and the leftist media want the ball to roll... Great point !

Who says there were practically no attacks? Maybe the media just isn't making such a big deal about them. I wouldn't say there were nearly no attacks.

More troops and the President's statement that he isn't swayed by media polls maybe is the answer, only time will tell. I will admit that he has guts.

It sure is getting better but good news does not sell newspapers as they say. The media does not make as much money if good news is there to report.

I don't believe one has anything to do with the other. Two weeks isn't long enough to gage Saddam's impact on violence in Iraq.
