Keep close to the best/f and when she is invited to go off with the other girl go along. Good luck.

This is a very hard question, I've gone through this twice now. Take your friend aside, and maybe tell her quietly that you need to talk to her. Also, call her or email her. This will all be better if you just talk to her privately, otherwise you could get her to make a huge scene, and then people will start to take sides. This is a tough tricky situation. It may be a matter of her being jealous or just a mean thing. Also, you could tell your best friend. She may have reasoning behind your other friends wanting your best friend.

That is not a friend at all. If all of you are good friends to begin with, it really shouldn't be a problem. If it is, I wouldn't even bother messing mess with the offender, I would have a talk with my best friend letting her/him know how much they mean to me, and express my fear of losing them. It will open their eyes to the (potential) problem, and if they care enough, they will stand by your side. Since that is the root of your problem, you will be eliminating a need for unnecessary drama by avoiding talking to the "friend" who is trying to steal your best bud. Take care.

Tell her that you feel she is interfering with your friendships. Tell her that she can be friends with your best friend too, because it's okay for someone to have more that one best friend. Tell the friend you feel she is trying to take away what is happening in your own view. Remember to be patient, use a gentle voice, and avoid arguements. Good luck! :)

Let her know how you feel. It might be good to for all three of you to sit down and talk so that your friend doesnt tell your best friend something different. She might not be aware of what she's doing or she might be doing it intentionally because she's jealous of your friendship with your best friend.
