was it "the children of the stones" set around avebury circle?
i remember it and was lucky enough to talk my parents into taking me there once.

There was a dramatisation of the Weirdstone of Brisingamen, a scary kids story featuring moving standing stones. Was on the beeb in the early to mid 80s as I recall.

It was called 'Marianne Dreams'. A little girl was ill in bed and she drew a house and visited the house in her dreams. As she got iller, her dreams got more bizarre. Scared the pants off me at the time!
