I don't think he'd be proud of society today, whites/blacks/hispanics/etc included.

However, as racially divided as we still are, it has improved since he's died, so he would probably be happy for that.

He would be rolling over in his grave...are you kidding? He preached the right to education not the right to have the highest dropout rate of any race, he preached about family, not being a baby daddy/momma, he preached about equality not affirmative action, he preached about self reliance not waiting on the government to help you out, he preached about work not an entitlement mentality, he preached about civility not shooting someone over stepping on your shoes, he sang "We Shall Overcome", not "Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nothing to F*ck With", he abhorred the use of the word n!gger, no matter what the context, AND MOST OF ALL HE WOULDN'T ACCUSE LEGITIMATELY SUCCESSFUL OR PROPER SPEAKING BLACKS OF BEING SELL OUTS OR ACTING WHITE, he would congratulate and encourage them.

To sum it all up he would be sick and disgraced by the blacks of today for the most part I think he would be five times as pissed as Bill Cosby. The TV cartoon version of "The Boondocks" did a hypothetical situation such as this for an episode once it is worth watching.

Now before people accuse me of being racist and stereotyping remember for every one intelligent, decent, hardworking, well spoken black person that remains hidden in the background there are 20 on the six o'clock news, BET, MTV, and on a lot of streets that don't get the message.

Oh and I live right down the street from his crypt in Atlanta..oops I mean The ATL and I get to see the neighborhood he is buried in and wonder why these people can't or won't help themselves.(Atlanta is an all black government too, before you start that racist BS)

He would be proud of some and some he wouldn't be proud of. Just like there would be some white people he's proud of and some he's not.

Let's not forget the strong white people who marched beside him in a time when it was tough for them to do so.

So ask yourself that question in regard to all colors.

Just like any color has those who you can be proud of and those you can't.

I'm personally striving to make God proud.

I believe he wouldn't be proud of anyone on Earth..no matter what their race is. We have a lot of ignorant people still walking around.

But he would be proud of the fact of how far we came as a people. And when I say people, I am referring to all races of people.

I think he would be very proud that African Americans are treated much more fairly now than back when he was alive.

I do however think he would be very displeased at the large number of blacks who completely squander the opportunities that are available to them now.

That is too general to answer without going into a lot of detail. Suffice it to say, there are things he would be proud of and things he would not be so proud about.

I think so, for sure. Hmmm..I think he would be more proud of what he has accomplished for civilization, rather then the black people as a whole. Gang violance...etc..no, but that applys to whites as well.
