Everyday you wake up to a new day. Getting out of bed, you wash your face, prepare and, most probably, rush somewhere. Like everyone else, you, too, hasten not to be late to school or work and soon find yourself engrossed with everyday routines. In the rapid flow of the day, in school or at work, you struggle to learn something or to meet a deadline, and in the blink of an eye, you notice that it has almost become evening. When you arrive home in the evening, you do your daily housework. Sometimes, just for a change, you visit your friends, go to movies and then return home to sleep. The next morning you start the same vicious circle all over again.
During these daily routines, is it possible that you remain indifferent to other important things in life? In the daily rush of your life, is it possible that you forget, don't notice or pretend not to grasp some important things?

The answer of almost everyone should be "Yes." Because the majority of people fail to think or wonder about many details pertaining to their lives. You can start by thinking the following:
While you are in your room reading this article (its book’s link is below),
Never Plead Ignorance:

are you aware that some astonishing incidents are happening? For instance, have you ever thought that you are now moving at 1,670 kilometres an hour through space?
Alternatively, have you ever thought that the room you are in right now occupies a tiny space in the universe, just as if it were a dust particle?
Or, are you, as a human being – the only being endowed with the faculty of thinking – aware of the perfect order existing in the universe?

There are surely hundreds of similar questions you could ask yourself. The purpose in mentioning these questions is to unveil – albeit slightly – the covering over the human mind, which is already obscured by daily tasks, and help to expand its horizons. Our intention here is to reflect on some crucial issues.
Now, consider the following:
"What is the significance of these questions for my life? Is it really important to think about them while I have hundreds of things to accomplish? My final examinations… the meeting that will be held in late afternoon… don't they have priority?"

These thoughts reflect a common mistake many people make. No doubt, plans pertaining to one's education, home or future are important. Yet there are some issues which are more important. Primarily, a person should reflect on the purpose of his existence in this world, on what exists beyond this life, on how this magnificent planet on which he lives came into existence, and on who is the Creator of all living things, including him.
If one thinks earnestly without pretending not to grasp the facts one comes across, one would arrive at a single conclusion:
In the immense universe, an astonishing variety of plants and animals, all beings – animate or inanimate – and more importantly man himself, are parts of the flawess creation of Allah(God), the Almighty. Man doesn't see his Creator, yet, pondering on the countless pieces of evidence surrounding him will make him comprehend Allah's existence and His attributes.

In his efforts, his sincerity will provide him with a way to understanding his Creator's commandments and the ways to attaining His good pleasure. Allah relates in the Qur'an:

Eyesight cannot perceive Him but He perceives eyesight. He is the All-Penetrating, the All-Aware. Clear insights have come to you from your Lord. Whoever sees clearly, does so to his own benefit. Whoever is blind, it is to his own detriment. I am not here as your keeper. (Quran, 6, 103:104)

You also reflect on this fact and never pretend you don't grasp the superior creation of Allah.

You surely have a point...i generally agree with what you said, however, i think that the topics you suggested are directly related to your personal interests, age group, educational background, religion...i don't think that there is a person on the planet who has no interest in anything. I would ask you alternatively some questions regarding sport cars, for example, which i think may be as important to professional drivers as resolving all the matters you put on the table for everybody else. If you feel so passionate about something that carries so much mystery...that may come from your nature that carries attraction for mysterious things. I ask myself all the things you proposed all the time, during my boring working hours and away from office too...but i always end up reminding myself that i spent a lot of my life getting to know things of a similar nature and i never use them in my daily life...surely i feel the self fulfillment from knowing the answers but at the end of the day...you stop and ask yourself...did i add anything to my old self, you know, the one that left for work at 8:00 AM, and you pick your interests accordingly.
How important do you think it is for a 25 year old living in Iraq today that the room he lives in is the size of a dust particle? I'm not trying to make a political point or anything, but I'm just trying to prove that interests are relative to ones background and nature.
Ignorance is also relative, for a NASA scientist, we are both ignorant, for a guy dealing Heroin in Afghanistan we are both the exact opposite.
Let me propose a last thought; it is a truly beautiful feeling that comes from exploring the wonders that surround us but how about exploring the people around us, the human aspect of our lives, we are human and we are rooted in to this planet, whatever knowledge we have of this universe doesn't change the fact that we are a second in the life of the universe. So what effects for we have on it till now? probably negligible effects, relatively, but you can always create positive traces in the lives of the people that surround you and that wouldn't be relatively negligible because you have practically the same life range, with a difference negligible relatively to the universe's.

Know about people and how to better live with them, if the universe decides to send a planet your way you can't do anything about it, but you can always do something to better understand people around you and all over the world.

so you think this is a nowadays problem/ issue?
guess what? it´s not.

Human beings, since the origin, have always kept their minds worried with "survival tasks". You see, cave men had the problem of what to eta, where to sleep, etc. simple problems as their lives were in that time.

Then came more complex activities in human beings: conquering empires, searching new lands, getting complex ideas about human existence (Marx, Nietszche, Thomas de Aquino, etc) and so on.

And well, finally we have modern times: internet, mc donalds, subways, terrorism, etc. but people still acts the same way they have always do: survivol tasks..

Sorry, shaman. You missed the point. It was not a point of Hate.
He is trying to state that we choose to ignore things, or do not make time for things that do not affect our lives directly. In short, open your eyes, look at the big picture. And then look back at the meaning of your life, as part of the big picture.

The easy answer is yes, American's are ignorant. But they do it by choice. American's are intelligent, but they feel that they cannot make a difference in the overall aspect of world views. It is easy to claim ignorance than to face people who hold them accountable for the actions of their fellow man. In foreign countries, the family unit is very strong. Yet, in America, we are seeing a decline in traditional family values. We are allowing our lives to control us. Are wants, not necessarily our needs, dictate our daily actions. Instead of forming groups, we want to be individuals. So, American's struggle to prove that they are different or better than the next person, by obtaining material possessions. So, instead of living peacefully, its all about who is the Alpha and who is the Gamma. It's a sad way to live. Most people never open their eyes long enough to see the truth. They put their nose to the grindstone to make ends meat. In doing so they miss all the wonder's that life,"Allah",has to offer.
But remember that your pride, can make you blind.
There is more than one way to live a good life.

You're supposed to do your preaching in a mosque or church. You make a mighty poor mullah.
Some of you would-be preachers do more harm that good for the cause that you're trying to sell.
If anyone wants to be holyfied, he can find his way to the church. When you annoy someone, you've lost him.
Allahu Akbar ( peace on him )

I'm not ignorant.
The world is trying to adjust to the collision of two vastly different philosophies. Here are some examples--
Qur’an 8:60 “Infidels should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them.”

Bukhari:V4B52N260 “The Prophet said, ‘If a Muslim discards his religion, kill him.’”

Qur’an 5:51 “Believers, take not Jews and Christians for your friends.”

Sahih Bukhari V6B61N577:
I heard the Prophet saying, "In the last days (of the world) there will appear young people with foolish thoughts and ideas. So, wherever you find them, kill them, for there will be a reward for their killers on the Day of Resurrection."

Bukhari [4:52:177]: Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him!"

Bukhari, V1B4N234: "A group of people from the Oreyneh and Oqayelh tribes came to the prophet to embrace Islam, the prophet advised them to drink the urine of the camels. Later on when they killed the prophet's shepherd, the prophet seized them, gouged out their eyes, cut their hands and legs, and left them thirsty in the desert to die."

Fight and slay the pagans wherever you find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem of war. Surah 9:5

The punishment of those who wage war against Allah (blasphemy) and his Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the hereafter. Surah 5:33
Quran 4:34 "(as to those muslimah’s) on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them;"

ON THE OTHER HAND,

Matthew 5:44,45 But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
1 John 4:7,8 ...let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Ephesians 5:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

Colossians 3:19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them

MY RESPONSE--
As christians, sometimes we have a hard time turning the other cheek--but it's generally not in our nature to be the offender. Our nation was built on tolerance, and we're not islamophobic, or against any religion! We're fanaticphobic. And terroristphobic. We want to be able to take our families to Disneyland without having to worry about being maimed or killed by a raving lunatic who thinks he has a mission from God, and who thinks forcing others to bow down with a gun to their head is acceptable.
We find ANY RELIGION--including Islamic fundamentalism--to be BARBARIC, distasteful, and a mockery of true religion WHEN it is used as an excuse to do EVIL.

So, all violent religious nuts listen closely--if WE did what YOU do, WE would be executed as criminals by our own courts! Trying to spread religion by force can be compared to using the KKK and its violence to spread Christianity. The idea is abominable to us, and to ALL civilized people, REGARDLESS of religion!
So, to anyone who would use religion as an excuse to be cruel, murderous or evil--GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!
