Recently I hit a curb and my tire on front right blew out. got it repaired and now I hear a humming and slight vibration only when I turn right which sounds like it is coming from the left side. Anyone know what this could be and how much a possible repair could be?

Initially i thought it was a CV joint as well, but a mechanic said that my car doesn't have CV Joints. I have a 95 Firebird...unfortunately.

hum usually indicates a bad wheel bearing.

Hard to say without being there to test drive it, however, I would check - out cv joints & wheel bearings. Humming noises & vibrations are usually assosiated with cv joints & bearings. Worn or damaged CV joints usually make the most noise and vibrations when turning. Tires out of balance in most cases do not make a humming noise. There is also, on most cars, a thin metal backing plate beside the brake rotor that could be scraping the rotor when turning. However this would not cause a vibration, just a scraping noise. Hope this narrows things down a bit for you.
GOOD LUCK!

Could be anything from an alignment issue to a cracked bearing race. Could also be a bent tie rod, or a distorted CV Joint, or a damaged stearing rack. You need to have a mechanic look at it.

Either your tire is touching part of the car or the tire wasn't balanced and starts vibrating under certain conditions.

sounds like the whole front suspension is out of tune. Have a mechanic look at.

it may be there bearings it is undesirable, i might pray for that. so verify that or the wheel hub. if its neither of those then its you cv shaft that's genuinely a discomfort to do it your self.

It could be the rim was lightly damaged or it needs to be balanced better.

Take it to the shop and have it looked at, it may be something serious.
