YOU need to look at a MAP of the US that shows where the Mississippi runs. There are many states east of the Miss.
Open that geography book.

Delaware

Ohio
Indiana
Michigan
Illinois
Wisconsin
Two states, Minnesota and Louisiana, straddle the river, but are generally considered west of the Mississippi.

The guy up^there answered your question, but he probably looked them up on the computer or on an Atlas. Maybe not, but the point is, you're on a computer. Why ask it here when you can go to a map on your computer and get that answer yourself? It's so easy a 4 year old could do it. I think some of you kids are just too darn lazy to type it in and find the best website. Have a little initiative. Look it up.
