Oui!!! Apparently Churchill offered all French people a British citizenship if they continued to fight the Germans in World War 2 back in 1940. They declined and promptly surrendered. I think that answers what they think also! If it was the case we'd probably all be holidaying in St Tropez instead of Bognor or Blackpool!

No offence to the French - but Hell yeah!! Would they really have tolerated us moving there and invading their space - because they really don't like us now!! "Go home roast beefs" springs to mind...
