Obviously, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Donovan McNabb, and Tom Brady are looked upon as the elite --top four-- quarterbacks in the NFL. Brady didn't have the numbers Brees and Manning put up, or the numbers McNabb would of put up, but he lacks offensive weapons in reality. His threats at receiver consist of simply Troy Brown, Chad Jackson, and Reche Caldwell. Sure Ben Watson broke out this year, but that's really because Brady didn't have much of a choice but get his Tight End involved so often. Looking at Donovan McNabb, before his injury, he was the top quarterback in all aspects even with it being his first year without the pro bowl receiver, Terrell Owens. Though McNabb is still left with plenty of weapons offensively, as so does Drew Brees. Brees has a veteran receiver and halfback that can catch passes out of the backfield, along with quite of few nifty young players... Reggie Bush, Marques Colston, Terrence Copper, Devery Henderson. This offense, like the Eagles offense, flows in synchronized fashion and the quarterbacks for both teams make their offense better. Now we look at Peyton Manning... Marvin Harrison - record holder - future hall of famer. Reggie Wayne - on more than half the teams in the NFL, Reggie Wayne is a full-time starter. Then Dallas Clark, Ben Utecht, Brandon Stokely, Ricky Proehl, and Moorehead finish the receiving corps up, but I would like to mention that Manning was capable of running the offense without both Dallas Clark and Brandon Stokely this year. Not only that, but he's depended on a rookie running back in Joseph Addai instead of having a back bone like Edgerrin - "The Edge" - James. To further belittle Peyton's team this year, the defense has been horrific during the regular season and Dwight Freeney had merely no sacks until the halfway mark of the season. Bob Sanders was out and the run defense suffered, but Peyton Manning, the offensive line, and the remaining receivers won the games and got the job done. Even in the playoffs, Peyton Manning is the best game manager and most efficient and consitent quarterback that football has ever known. Manning and Harrison hold all the records... amount of receptions in a season (Harrison-143), amount of TD's between one receiver and quarterback in a career, amount of completions between the two, best quarterback rating in NFL history (2004: 121+), most TD passes in a season (2004: 49), and not to mention Manning has had no more than ten interceptions in the past four season, in fact this year he had only nine. And in fact led the NFL in passing touchdowns, and came second in passing yards. There were only two quarterbacks with passer rating that were 100 plus, and Peyton was one. Sure Brees gets all the attention, but that's because no one expects it and he's really get a lot of surplus attention from the brillance of Reggie Bush; in fact the entire offense and team does. Peyton Manning is someone people take for granted now, but it's a fact that's he's still the best quarterback statistically, in theory, and overall (including history and career comparison). Peyton Manning WILL be the best pro quarterback for years to come. The NFL has given you Montana, Marino, Elway, Young, Aikman, Favre... and now Peyton Manning has been presented to you... and many of you don't even realize it.

I think Tom Brady proved that yesterday. Despite the fact he has NO offensive pro-bowlers on his team, he finds a way to win when it counts. No one in the league demonstrates the leadership abilities and confidence on the field that he has.
