Unlike Family Guy and The Simpsons, surely there are cartoons that teach lessons in life instead of how to break the rules. Any Ideas? Either a television cartoon character or fictional character. Thanks for the help.

Veggie Tales are great. They're kinda Christian centered (that bothers some people). I like them because it's story my son understood at 3, still loves at 6, and they throw in some jokes only the adults will get (nothing graphic, just references to things and people the kids wouldn't know about). Hope this helps

Cartoons That Teach Morals

Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem was-salaat was-salaam `ala Nabiyyina wa Habeebina wa Mawlana Muhammadin wa `ala alihi wa sahibihi ajma`een In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. I agree with Hassan: " It is generally not haram to watch Islamic cartoons especially for children, because they are still young and they could take good lessons and learn from these programs as cartoons and movies could be a very good way of teaching kids our Islamic or Moral values. Thus, there is no problem. Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) was asked: What is the ruling on cartoons that appear on TV? He replied: With regard to the cartoons which you say appear on TV, if they are in the form of humans, then the ruling on watching them depends on whether they come under the same ruling as realistic human images or not? It is most likely that they do not come under that ruling. If they are not in the form of humans, then there is nothing wrong with watching them, so long as they are not accompanied by anything haraam such as music and so on, and they do not distract from obligatory duties. End quote. Majmoo’ al-Fataawa 2/question no. 333

Honestly I think that The Simpsons sort of does teach morals in an anti-moral way. It really teaches you what NOT to do.

Cartoons for little kids usually have morals in them.

Any of the classic marvel comic book characters do by teaching kids that it is wrong to steal and hurt others. Go-go gadget was another that I can think of. Captain Planet taught not to pollute and be greedy.
