Actor: Ronald Reagan, was a great President with a super economy, ended the cold war
Cult Leader: Teddy Roosevelt was a great President with a great economy and foreign relations program,
Skull and Bones: Taft, Bush and Bush. GWB is a good president running the best economy in the history of the country
Idiot: no presidents qualify but Carter and Hoover came close

So far, I don't see where any of those categories have had much effect on the person in the White House.

Ronald Reagan was a terrific President after being an actor but Sonny Bono was kind of a flop as a Congressman (or crash, if you will).

I haven't seen any cult leaders unless you county Billybob Clinton and his Hillbilly Mafia which was a cult of immorality and deceit.

As far as Skull & Bones Members, President Bush has been a pretty good President but John Kerry, who was also a member of the same organization couldn't lead a goat-breeding let alone a country.

As far as idiots, I've seen some on both sides but it also appears that the most recent was Jimmy Earl Carter who everyone used to say made a better ex-president than president but after his latest bout of hoof & mouth disease (every time he opens his redneck-cracker mouth, he sticks his hoof in it) I don't even believe that's true so he was no only a lousy president, he's a lousy ex-president too.

I'm afraid that the criteria you mention should not be used to choose the next leader of the Free World.

Well I guess it depends on who is it better for really,
the Actor and the Skull & Bones guy were very good for the Industrial War machine, The Cult leader was also.
The idiot was good the actor so its all a circle of stupidity leaving the American people with no real control over anything they merely have the illusion of freedom and democracy to keep them in line, but whatever. Arnold in 08

We seem to have the best of all possible worlds. Our President is all of these rolled into one. H.L. Mencken prophecied this day with the following. "The larger the mob, the harder the test. In small areas, before small electorates, a first-rate man occasionally fights his way through, carrying even the mob with him by force of his personality. But when the field is nationwide, and the fight must be waged chiefly at second and third hand, and the force of personality cannot so readily make itself felt, then all the odds are on the man who is, intrinsically, the most devious and mediocre — the man who can most easily adeptly disperse the notion that his mind is a virtual vacuum.
The Presidency tends, year by year, to go to such men. As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

I would like to know what "cult" Bush the leader of?

I would take actor, only if he or she was as good of a president as Ronald.

We've got a cult leader, conspiracy member, and idiot as president right now. I am going to put my money on actor.

humorous you should ask that question...Obama strikes me as a lot more suitable of a preacher than a achieveable president. A president would ought to have truly recommendations about the thanks to do issues, no longer only emotional calls to "replace" that are embedded in inspirational, sense-good sermons. Get the guy some pom-poms and a pillow! and some plant existence for his followers! Gooooooobama!!

Arnold can't run, but I'll still go with actor. Ronald Reagan was proof this can work.
