Anorexia and obesity are both big problems, but obesity seems to be a bit more widespread here in America. It's kind of heartbreaking going to school every day and seeing so many fellow students that will die younger of heart disease and diabetes and stuff.

there are so many reason for obesity in this country

fast food, no one has time anymore to cook nutrtional meals, parents are too busy trying to work and make ends meat, why do you think teens are outta control, no one is at home parenting them the way they should. we spend all this time and money in iraq, when we need to focus on making things better gere in america, nowadays mtv and bet are rasing the kids.

also kids dont go out and play much no more, most would rather play there new game system and eat chips

It is true. It is a phenomenon that is most prevalent in the US but other countries are catching up as well. It is largely due to the crappy food that is out there for people to buy, and the fact that the activity level of the average person has decreased so much.
