Well, you don't have to be a member, there are no dues
or fees, you don't need a passport. So, it's really simple....
buy a house and move and live here, and bingo, you're a
resident of Indiana. Welcome to the "crossroads of
America".

If you mean proving residency, a drivers license, utility bills, rent receipts, etc. will do just fine.
