since its based on college preformances, most of them deserved. my list is:
1. Ty Detmer ( threw for a crazy numbers but was just a system Qb)
2. Andre king (same as Ty)
3. Jason white (I think he threw 8 ints in two national championship games)
P.S. Tommie frazier SHOULD have won but finsihed second.
4. Reggie bush ( only had like 5 100 yard games in his career and only one season over a 1,000 yards.)
5. Troy smith ( had the lowest qb rating in a national championship game ever, the reason why his team lost)

Right now everyone will say Troy Smith. Is this based on how they did in the NFL? If thats the case every QB who has won it. If it's based on college performance the Idiots who said Andre Ware and Woodson didn't watch college football. Ware threw for 716 yds in one game in college. A record that may never be broken.

People seem to forget that the Heisman trophy is given to the best college player in the nation. That doesn't necessarily mean that they will do good in the pros. It just means they were the best in college.
