It looks like McCain or Giuliani. I think we (conservatives) need to bring a more moderate candidate to the table this time around. GWs hard line has alienated alot of the country and we need to bring them back into the fold. Rudy is definitely the more moderate and he could probably even carry NY. I have contributed funds to McCain's exploratory committee but in the end I think I will support Rudy. We need to have a Republican in the White House to stem the Democratic tide, if they control both branches of government we will take a severe slide backwards. However, I wouldn't be too disappointed to see it Democratically controlled. That party has become nothing but a divisive partisan group, without a President to bash, I just don't feel there is any substance there that they can possibly get anything accomplished. A Democrat in the executive office just might be the downfall of the Democratic party, they just don't make decisions except countering Republicans.

I want to make sure we don't abandon Iraq. I want to make sure there is still a tough stance on terrorists and I think our next move is going to have to be against Iran. A Democrat just can't do what needs to be done. I want a moderate Republican, to attempt to reform health care in this country, we need to get away from the religious control of our party, I believe it will take a moderate to get this accomplished.

I want border security very strongly. This means sending troops down there. The government CAN secure the border easily, but chooses not to because they're afraid of losing the Hispanic vote. I want someone who truly understands the importance of the war in Iraq. I want someone who will maintain the strong tax cuts that Bush has implemented and continue to work in that direction in the economy.

So far the big 3 that I see are Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani, and John McCain.

I like Giuliani a lot because I think very few people dislike him and he's pretty moderate in things like abortion and gay marriage which I like as well. I saw from an interview that he definitely understand the war in Iraq. I don't know how he'd perform on the border though.

McCain. unfortunately, supports the guest worker program with Ted Kennedy. We have to secure the border before we do something like that, otherwise we'll be encouraging more to come.

And I'll have to see what Mitt Romney's stance on the issues are, but he may be good.

Looking at the Democrats, I really don't like any of them.

John Edwards' platform is very strongly socialist, and he has zero foreign policy experience.

Obama's too inexperienced. He's only been a Senator for 2 years and before that he was a state legislator. And even though his rhetoric is "let's work together", his voting record is very consistently far-left.

Hillary is a flip-flopper with no real stance on any issues.

i'm not confident about the Conservatives yet yet New Labour has actually outstayed that is welcome as far as i'm in touch. That stated, it had on the in simple terms proper election and yet they were nonetheless elected via our unrepresentative first previous the placed up device. Labour's values seem to have replaced thoroughly for the time of the last 10 years or so and they are literally not the social gathering of the individuals - nicely a minimum of not the individuals of this usa. they seem to imagine they could maintain on as they want, with sleazy ministers final in workplace lengthy when they ought to have resigned and regulations that are patently not supported by technique of maximum British human beings. it truly is really time we had a replace and that i in simple terms desire that someone is as a lot as truly difficult them on the subsequent election.

I would vote for Wesley Clark if he ran. I know he is a Democrat, but I really think he would be a great president.

I would like to see the Iraqis able to govern themselves and be able to keep terrorists out of their country.
I would like to see the national debt reduced.
I would like to see the immigration laws enforced and our borders secure.

Cut government spending, reduce the size of government, cut the debt, secure our borders and help rebuild our OWN cities, and find a way out of Iraq. Show me a 'conservative' candidate who actually stands on conservative values, and that's my candidate...haven't seen one yet

Judge Roy Moore, so he can turn us into a Ten Commandments Theocracy, and kill all the unbelievers.

He does have his fans, and if that mentality was allowed the power, that's what would happen.
