I am 16 weeks so a few weeks behind you but I guess its only a little different, I am feeling an almost constant sensation like little bubbles popping about 4 inches from my belly button in the centre of the abdomen, basically its where my uterus feels most hard

There are no certain areas to feel fetal movement. Why? because the movement depends if the baby is actually making contact into your uterine/abdominal wall. The baby is suspended in amniotic fluid so if he is too little you may not be able to feel the movement. At the age of 6 months of pregnancy the movement will be much felt especially if the baby is very active and the mother is of slight built. As the pregnancy progresses in some cases it is a bit painful when the baby is moving/kicking. If your about 8 months up try exposing your belly while reclining when you feel the baby move, you can see your belly bulging in different areas.

You could feel them anywhere in the lower abdomen. It all depends on where the baby attached itself to your uterine wall. Each baby attaches itself to different parts of the uterus, so everyone feels the movements differently. The one thing that is common though, is that it feels like tiny flutters or bubbles early on. Best of luck to you and congrats.

at 18 weeks movement should not be continuse yet and some people dont even notice it. It all depends on how the baby is positioned.

last night I felt mine off to the side. basically anywhere in the uterus.. at 18 week the uterus is in your pelvic bone and almost up to your belly button. It is about as wide as it is tall at this point, so about 18 cm wide
