yeah I have. I thought it felt good at the time and after it was done I just felt worse. I was taken to the ER once by my family because they wanted to put me on suicide watch for cutting my legs and the psychologist told me I wasn't suicidal (which I knew) but he asked me to see a therapist to deal with my stress relief techniques and I haven't cut for a long time but when I get really stressed out I still think about it and have to make a concious effort to breath and work through my stress other ways. Email me if you want to talk. I'm 24 BTW and haven't cut myself for over six months and I used to do it at least a couple times a week.

When I was young, no one did that. Now it's trendy, and everyone is doing it. Hopefully, this trend will pass soon. The people I know who've done it do regret it. They're a little older, and they've passed by the cutting phase. Now they feel stupid because they have these ugly scars, and they have to hide them. One girl where I used to work had them, and then she met the man of her dreams. He was smart, funny, and cool. Then he saw those scars, and she had to explain to him that she used to cut herself. The relationship was never the same, because NATURALLY, he started to think she was some sort of whack job. She told me that cutting herself was the stupidest thing she ever did.

Yes I was washing dishes an accidently CUT myself, I did not feel it at the time, until I was rinsing the dishes off and seen the blood gushing. Thats when the pain hit me, and I was like, WOW I CUT MYSELF< LETS SEE HOW DEEP A WOUND THIS ONE IS.
But to cut and slash on purpose, NO!

I cut myself only to test how sharp a knife is. And no I don't regret it because I have a high tolerance for pain.

Yep, I did it becuase it was the way I dealt with emotions. No, I don't regret it, because each scar reminds me of how far I have come.

Yes. I do not regret it, but I am glad that it stopped as quickly as it did with as little damage. It's not a good coping strategy.

Yes, I cut myself, after being hospitalized for suicidal ideation and then my therapist ended up putting me on a strict program at home and I have not hurt myself since even though the urge is really strong at some times. It is one thing I wish I would have never done.

If you are in severe pain, cutting yourself (not too deeply) will release natural pain killers in the blood and numb the pain. It's a good thing to know if there are no pain killers around.

i go to a therapy group with a few kids that have cut themselves...but you should seek some professional help it probably has to do with some sort of rage or anger, you need to figure out what is driving you to do it and come to peace with it, it is probably something you will know and u think that it is impossible to come to peace with it...
