You are right... we do have many commemorative days, but the fact is, the majority of them are not major holidays and are not even observed. Arbor Day comes and goes... a few people give notice, but the mail goes on and the banks don't close. For most Americans it is just another day. No celebration or special meal.
June 6 is D Day. Most younger Americans would be clueless if asked what that might be. Veterans would take take notice, of course. So, no, it's not annoying. No at all.

Muslim human beings have as a lot of a suitable to rejoice their faith as Christians, Jews, Buddhists, etc. human beings in this usa could how you are able to differentiate between Muslims and extremists.

Most of the days you mentioned are "awareness" days not real holidays. Most of these are not "money makers" in any sense of the word, but are just to remember various things or people. Most of the time you don't notice the lesser known days, which is a pity, as many of them are there to raise awareness.
