You can click and open all programs, See isf it is there. If it is there you go to add/remove programs and try to remove it. If you need, I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...!You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

If its a program you installed or was previously installed on your computer do what the above guy said COntrol panel add/remove programs and click on the program and uninstall

If it is on your computer it will be listed in the Add/Remove Programs as "Windows Defender".
If it is not listed, try downloading WD over the one on your computer. This should add it to the Add/Remove Programs so you can remove it.

I take it you taking about Defender - go to control panel click add or remove program.
