It would take investigating committees to come up with actual crimes that Bush has committed (not that I think there aren't any, I believe there are) and those committees would have a huge task in front of them that could never be completed and presented to justify impeachment before he is due to leave office anyway. I think that the majority of Congress realizes the reality of this, and does not wish to waste their time when they have a war, terrorism, and immigration to deal with. Bush will leave office criminally unscathed, but personally defeated, left to ponder his mistakes over the rest of his life. Those who thirst for his "blood" will have to be content with that I believe.

I think Congress has more important things to worry about than retribution against Bush. Even though, the same couldn't be said about the Congress ten years ago when they impeached Clinton for getting some in the Oval Office.

For the 394,586,396.987,285,793 time. There is nothing they can even remotely use to start impeachment proceeding. All of us with a high school or better education have known this all along.

In order for the president to be impeached, he has to commit a crime first. I'll leave up to capitol hill. They are the professionals after all.

See, this shows how truly intelligent you and your liberal buddies are, impeach bush, for what? Trying to PROTECT our country?
Are you against fighting the terrorists on their own ground?
Fight it there, or fight it here.
Your choice.
He has not commited any crimes, unlike your god clinton, whom lied under oath to the country, and cheated on his wife.

Oh, GOD No!! Think about it...
That would make Dirty Dick Cheney the President. Our country would become "the United States of Halliburton" and our national motto would become "in oil we trust."
May God keep G. W. Bush healthy for the next two years! And maybe cure his megalomania in the meantime.

As long as the do Cheney as well, otherwise it would be an exercise in futility, replacing Tweedledum with Tweedledee.
