It depends. If I am interviewing someone for a job and they come in flip flops and a sweaty t-shirt, then yes.
If I meet them on the beach dressed the same. Then no.
Sometimes clothing matters and other times it doesn't. I don't judge pple on whether they wear Armani or CK I judge them on whether they are dressed appropriately. You can't go to church in a mini-skirt with half your thong hanging out and then, to make matters worse, sit in the front row. Dress appropriately already!!!!

Yes, I do but not intentionally. I try to see beyond the surface but sometimes it is more challenging than others. If a person dresses provocatively, sloppy, too formal, or whatever in a circumstance that is way out of context then I tend to draw a conclusion before I should. Sometimes that is the desired effect of wearing nonconforming, unconventional attire, sometimes it is completely unintentional. People are complicated and I think a smart person tries not to jump to conclusions when sizing up strangers.

I don't judge on the quality of clothes...but the style it self and the colors helps u alot in knowing about the person.

of course i take in that information. i see that.
it is information. "judge" by what do you mean.
if you mean do i assume that a person wearing dirty
or stained or torn clothing is poor for example,
depending on the situation i might be morelikely to
think that. i don't decide they're a bad person, but
i might make some judgements. if i see a person in
the cold without a coat i might think "they are probably cold"
and that is somewhat of a judgment.
if i see someone in high fashion, wearing high heels or
"styling" at wal mart i might decide to think that clothing
is important to that person. that they are making a statement-
a fashion statement. if i see a person in a suit, hose & heels
i will probably think they are coming from or going to work,
or possibly to a meeting like the league of women voters.
people tend to dress based on their task.
if a guy is wearing dirty torn clothing in the garage working
on his jaguar i probably would not think he was poor for
example.

absolutely not! because someone who wears the "best of the best" "top of the line" designer outfits, can have the worst attitudes, "I'm God's-gift-to-the-world".... whereas a person who wears hand-me-downs, ripped/torn clothing, or stuff from Goodwill or Salvation Army can have the most humble of attitudes. It's not the clothes that makes a person, it's their attitude that makes them.

No, not everyone can spend thousands of dollars on clothing. I am happy buying my clothes at Wal mart. If people don't like what I'm wearing then screw them. I don't like people judging my wardrobe, why should I judge theirs?
