hey!
my sister's frndz called me n want me to arrange the baby shower for them!! Its gonna be in her house, ive planned how to get her out n how to bring her home and everything ..
But im stuck in a few things coz ive never had a baby shower n never been to one!!
1) decorations? (very low budget!!) plz plz give me cheap ideas but nice ones!
2) food? its gonna be @ 8 in the evening, so should i jst give finger foods, crisps with a dip, drinks .. n thts it? or more?
3) Games ?? what do ppl do ? talk? play games? wht games? ideas plz ..
4) anyother things tht ive missed out?

Hopefully the following things will help you out.....
Build a diaper cake.....it can double as your gift and the centerpiece at the shower. There are tons of sites that will show you how to do this. Lots of diapers and neccesities for the little one.
Games....there are tons of silly games you can play. BUT don't forget the sentimental ones that allow the guests to experss THEIR excitement over the new litle one (I have build a page on my website that has some fun SENTIMENTAL games on it....I put the link below, check it out!)
Food....since it is late at night. Go with cheese and crackers, veggies and dip, and little finger sandwiches. Punch. And don't forget the cake!! You can get one made to match the decor of the shower at your local grocery store....they aren't that expensive!!
Make it sweet.....it seems to me that baby showers, today, are becoming more and more silly. Sometimes people don't want to go be silly for a full two hours, you know? Make the activities meaningful and rememorable. That will make it PERFECT!!!

1) you can just buy some balloons, any pastels, and a "baby shower" banner. Doesn't have to be much.
2) if its that late, people will probably have eaten. You can write on the invites "Finger Foods & Drinks provided" so there is no confusion and hungry people.
3)Just google Baby Shower Games and you will find tons of websites that you can just print lots of games, or gives you ideas.
The only other thing would be a cake, and make sure you have plenty of prizes for all the games you play, doesn't have to be big, go to the Dollar store and get picture frames or candles

Well, there will be some expense involved. maybe you can have a couple of the girls help pitch in.
Finger foods are good. Make a punch. It goes further. NO BOOZE at a baby shower!! Not fair to the mama to be!
Games............having dolls and haveing diaper contests on who does it fastest.........or who drinks down a baby bottle fastest..need small little prizes for the winners.
Try shopping at the Dollar Store. Can get deco ideas there and the small gifts, dolls ( maybe borrow some from people who have little girls).
Baby name games. LOOK on the INternet for baby shower games.

For decorations and food get books from the library or go to Craft stores and look at the books there.
Also go to babies r us and ask to see a shower idea book or go to their website.
