with the numbers instead of actual address. example, 111.000.222. 333 I have tried geek tools and that says it looks like an i.p. address but it is unable to find. I received an email from that address and want to know where it originated.

i use http://www.dnsstuff.com
which has every network tool for tracing ip address.
when tracing an ip address u will only be able to get country/city, isp name, or hosting system and its address, but never the address of the sender.
