The left earphone from my ipod always falls out. Why?

Some people (like myself) have ear canals that are just not shaped they way that they'd need to be to use earbuds. It could be that your ear canals are slightly different sizes and all you'd need to do would be to buy a set of earbuds that have a selection of rubber tips in different sizes. My solution was to buy a pair of headphones that look like normal lightweight headphones but with an expandable rubber strap that hooks behind the ear instead of the usual rigid over-the-head or behind-the-neck strap (I can't find this particular design anymore, but there are plenty that will clip over the back of your ear). That way I've still got something that I can fit in my pocket.

The other option is to go with something a little more robust, which will give you much better sound clarity and sound less tinny.

Probably because your left earhole is small, making it hard to fit the earphone in and therefore getting it to stay.

Probably the headphones don't fit you well you might have smaller ears or you might not be putting it in correctly try putting it in a different way and if that doesn't work try a new pair of headphones maybe the kind that don't go into your ears!
