Do u know what the minimum uk driving age is for a quadbike, and does the quadbike engine have to be a certain size!?!?

im 15 yrs old, and in september im turning 16. i would like to buy a farm quadbike, so that i can get to school, and to wrk etc without having to use mum/dad as a taxi. im a yr ahead, and ill be starting 6th form in september, and everyone else will be 17, and will have a car, so i would like to have a quad so that i can be a bit more independant about getting here nd there...

The minum age you can drive a quad (Class B1 on a driving licence) on a public road in the U.K. is 17. There is no restriction on engine capacity, only weight (not over 550kg).

the minimum age 4 rideing a quad is 16 and there is no size limet just the engin has 2 be restickted to 50 cc 38 mph

16 years old and you can use a 125cc
