I wonder why you didn't ask the school? Anyway, regions vary, as do schools, but generally you are allowed to wear them if the do not pose a health and safety risk . Big earrings are likely to get caught on other people during for instance, PE, or just walking through crowded corridors, which could result in the earlobe being ripped. Aggressive pupils may find it impossible to resist the temptation to pull them, too, so I would be very wary of wearing them. Apart from anything else, they detract quite considerably from the uniform.

The same is true for heavy necklets and rings - and there are even more potential hazards with these if the pupil is in a science lab or home economics kitchen.

It depends on the dress code for your school. Most public schools allow you to wear mostly what ever you want in terms of jewelry.

Private schools are more strict.

Probably. Have you noticed other people wearing them? If I were you I would wear them and if a teacher or administrator asks you to take them out, be sure to bring a plastic zip lock bag from home so you can put them in it. And then leave the bag in your locker for the rest of the day so they won't get stolen or put them in your pencil case or purse.

Just, I wouldn't on gym days.
And since I never could remember waht day I was on (OK, sometimes), I don't know that I'd risk it.
