It is difficult to find any sources that would even tell me how much they were back then. I would check with the Almanac. It may not seem to be as convenient as the Internet, but you may actually have more of a chance of finding that information. I was a teen in the 90s, and if I remember correctly, the CDs were a lot more expensive than they are now. I think they were between $22.00 - 25.00 at the time, but, there again, that seems to be many moons ago.

I remember a CD cost around $20 back in 1992, and they were fragile like glass.

I think they are still around the same today, if you were to buy a new CD from a high priced music retailer.

About the same as they do now. $12 to $20.

They were around $14-$15 bucks then, and that was about the time they went from full size boxes.

I think I remember them being more expensive than they are now (around $19.99 each instead of the typical $13-$15 today).
