If you look at the 3rd Answerer's answer, you will see that republicans are delusional too and have too much false hope and don't learn from mistakes like our president.

truth is, our president is a F-ing idiot. plain and simple. Iraq was a wreck before we got there, and we've just made it worse. It had a terrible dictator who ruled over 3 feuding sects of arabs, all trying to kill each other........now with no dictator in place, they are killing each other and anyone in the middle. Removing Saddam from power was the correct thing to do, but it should have been the Iraqi people who handled that task, not a foreign invader. Iraqi military will never be able to secure it's own nation as long as foreing interests are the ones pulling the strings.

Why do you think war is easy?
No war that has ever been fought has been easy, or was done in a week. The point of the Iraq war being to sustain a democracy and create an ally in the war on terror.
OUR military is not god, nor are they perfect, they are not stupid either. What do you expect?
It's a long battle, but it must be fought.

In addition, our genius whom created this topic obviously has no idea what he's talking about, like the typical liberal, has no logical argument, but hilariously thinks he's still right.

The point is to train the Iraqi military so they can shoulder the burden of maintaining security with US troops supplementing them. The bottom line is that there just isn't enough troops period and the sooner we can train a Iraqi military that will not be afraid to fight, and train them in significant numbers the sooner we can put an end to lawlessness in Iraq.

Very true..... George "bash" and Co,couldn't even train their pet poodles not to piss on the white house wall, so obviously this 'plan" just like all the others, is off the wall.
Lets face it, He and his party have nothing left to lose...... the next elections they are OUT. So what's another 20.000 poor kid's lives/futures just to try and prove a point.
Up untill now he's up to 3000 Gi's ( dead)
How many wounded....? ( Vets left to rot in Marine hospitals)
Plus.... how many Iraquis 200.000, 300,000.... or more.
Plus in the last 8 years he's destabilsed the whole f...... world and banished Diplomacy back to the dark ages.... "screw you guy's were all just going to do what we damn well please".... your either with us or against us...ect.
All this because GOD was on his side,
2. He concidered that his dad "lost" the first one
3. And last but not least there was a hell of alot of OIL in them thar hills..... Soooo another 20,000 is just a drop in the provebial ocean. Of course its not to change anything, but he has to
say/do something..... I still find it hard to belive that in the 21st century the leader of the most powerful nation on earth is a schitzophrenic imbecil...... with the mentality of a 15 years old foot ball jock.......
Sorry about the spelling but I dont have "word" handy

Because it is written.

God told me to strike at al Qaida and I struck them, and then he instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to focus on them." --George W Bush, 06.25.03

This will be printed in the New, New Testament.

I believe he is currently suffering from a condition called pre-senile dementia. Sadly, he cannot help it. Even more depressing, his constituents are supporting these bad decisions.
