you're right, what a great idea, if you shoot from the helicopter you wouldn't even get your clothes dirty, and you could go home and tell all your friends how easy war is

Instead of recruiters they could use travel agents and have snazzy travel brochures. Of course, instead of shorts and t-shirts and sipping margaritas by the beach, you'll be donning military fatigues and carrying an M-16 through a 110 degree desert. There are some people, though, who would love it!

My guess is you have never been in a war. I think your cavalier attitude would change if you had.
War is no vacation. However if the idea appeals to you just join the military. Sure it is no holiday but guess what. You get to travel and it's all paid for.
