Excel template link?

Question

I want to create a master template which will affect .all xcl file that are stored in the same folder.
In other words i want to create a master template in which if i wanted to add another fieldm i would not have to change each of my 100s files but rather make changes in the template.

I tried with special pasting(referencing to master template) i found some limitation to this techinque. Is there a better a way? Any Macros? Thanks!

I think that is it, it doesn't get any better than that for the moment, hopefully they will make something better in the future
