im having problems with the creative zen microphoto 8gb . when i plug the usb cable into the computer it says that a new device has been found but when i click into the creative zen software it says that there is no device plugged in !! im really annoyed beacuse im not able to use it and i recieved it as a christmas present so thats whats annoying me the most ! i have uninstalled the creative software and re installed in time and time again but it still says no device can be found through the software . has anybody any idea what could be the problem with it ? please could somebody help? thanks guys

dont use the creative software,you can still transfer songs onto your zen using windows media player.click on SYNC and it will show your creative zen and the available space left on it.you can then put songs on it that way.

This has happened with my Creative Zen. What I did was find the reset button and used something thin to to press it. I did this twice just to make sure it was truly rest. You wont lose any files, its just that the player probably had a glitch and froze

you're being haunted... just joking, i don't know much bout zen micros, but i've gone thru several mp3 players, and after a year of using one, it did exactly what u described. I think its time to get another battery, although i just chucked my player out, it got so annoying...

That happened to my Zen Micro! it annoyed me so much i wanted to throw it at the wall!!

try the age old blowing on the connectors....keep trying it will work eventually! and it'll be worth it!

If none of the above advice helps, try restarting the computer with your device connected to the computer.

Sorry if you've already tried this; but connect it, then switch it on. That might help the computer recognise it.
